I have 1 of these on my FZ 750 streetfighter and I love it - looks cool, very small and does all I ask of it. The idiot lights work well with only the neutral being a bit slow in responding but everything else works extremely well. The speedo is deadly accurate if set up correctly and responds to speed changes quickly with only 3 of the possible 6 sensor magnets fitted ( its quicker if all 6 are fitted ). Tacho works perfectly right up to the rev limiter. Not affected by vibration or weather
I appreciate the feedback and take on board all comments but as I did not sell the DB01 R in question I have no idea if these comments are about a new item or a used item off e bay.
If I had been contacted about this I would have made absolutely certain the unit was fitted and functioning correctly and offered all the assistance I could give. In the event that the unit was faulty it would have been exchanged as a matter of course
Not a great bit of kit i must say. i fitted it to my old \'89 cbr600fh and it was an endless story with the trouble i had. the speedo would read double, then half then tell me im doing 223mph when im stationary, it was tempremental at the best of times! the rev gauge never worked, dispite setting it up exactly as the instructions told me to. and the idiot lights had around a 3 - 5 second delay. personally i think your are better off spending the extra £20 and getting the new model DB02R. it doesnt have the idiot lights but works brilliantly, and you get the option of cable drive speedos on the DB02R aswell so its reliable!
